Current banking positions available:

Basic Function:  Provide excellent customer service to FMB customers by performing transactions accurately and timely in a courteous and friendly manner.

Duties:  Receive checking and savings deposits; verify cash and endorsements; receive proper identification; issue receipts.  Process savings withdrawals; cash checks and related transactions.  Welcome customers and assist in their banking needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Previous cash handling and balancing experience; excellent customer service skills; team player and also able to work independently; good communication and interpersonal skills; dependable and prompt; good math skills; accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Specifications and Requirements:  Flexible work schedule approximately three days per week in addition to Saturdays (8:30 am — 12:00 noon), or approximately 20+/- hours per week.  Must be accurate, attention to detail, prompt, and reliable. Must provide excellence in customer service. Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

FMB currently has a full-time Personal Banker position available at the Lonedell Branch. The position will be responsible for opening up of new accounts, IRAs and consumer lending and providing total customer satisfaction to FMB’s customers.

Essential Duties: Responsible for opening of: Checking, Savings Accounts, CDs (certificate of deposit) accounts, IRA (individual retirement accounts), HSAs (health savings accounts), business accounts, safe deposit boxes, debit cards and non-customer check cashing/cash advance accounts.  Will also serve as a back-up Teller to provide full customer service to our customers.

Customer Service Duties:  Include sending wire transfers and providing customers with wiring instructions, setting up and maintaining online banking for eCom and eCorp customers, Mobiliti, Bill Pay and Touch Tone Banking. Assist customers with debit card questions, maintenance and PIN number changes, place stop payments and holds on our system, take credit card applications and assist customers with the safe deposit boxes. Research and explanations to customers assisting in their requests.

Consumer Loans:  Initiate consumer loan applications, run credit reports and review credit history to determine worthiness, offer credit life and accidental health insurance for consumer loans, perform loan closing of all documents and disbursement of funds.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledgeable in consumer products and services the bank offers, including all related fees; Take initiative to learn and keep abreast of changing regulations and implementation process of new products to create efficiencies within the bank; Find new ways to increase income and decrease expenses; Complete tasks in a timely manner; Punctuality; and, Maintain a professional image when representing the Bank with our customers.

Education & Experience:  High school degree, or GED equivalent. One year banking or teller experience is preferred. Cross-selling experience is preferred.   Complete ongoing training courses, as assigned.
